Merry Christmas from Guerillas !!!

During Christmas most I like is the Xmas tree and festive decorations. The prettiest ones are traditional and the most satisfaction is giving possibility to sefl-hand-making them out.
My loved Grandmother, Józefa, is doing the sweetest ornaments of wool. She is unattainable master at crochet jobs. From under her hand every year hundreds of cherubim come out. Every year Christmas trees are being decorated with them in our family and in church in our hometown.
Grandma’s crocheting angels just inspired me for the project of the Guerilla Xmas Tree. And she was so nice that she gave us over hundred of angels. The Maluca Yarnbombing team with the Guerilla Knitting Rotterdam group diligently prepared crochet ornaments and garlands for our project. But jobs for the Grandmother constitute it decorate the majority on the tree.
In the Sunday afternoon December 11th, 2011 the entire group decorated the tree in the centre of Rotterdam having a splendid time in addition. Surprised passers-by watched with the admiration. Even the person driving tram expressed the recognition.
It’s so nice. And for us was pleased very much to create this decoration. handmade knitting Xmas ornaments is giving a lot to joy. Try alone. These are easy.

Najbardziej w czasie Świąt Bożego Narodzenia lubię choinkę i świąteczne dekoracje. Najładniejsze są te tradycyjne a najwięcej satysfakcji daje możliwość samodzielnego ich wykonania.
Najsłodsze ozdoby z włóczki robi moja kochana Babcia Józefa, niedościgniona mistrzyni szydełkowych robótek. Spod jej ręki wychodzą każdego roku setki aniołków. Corocznie dekorowane są nimi choinki w naszej rodzinie i w kościele w rodzinnym miasteczku.
To właśnie babcine aniołki zainspirowały mnie do projektu Partyzanckiego Drzewka Świątecznego. A ona była tak miła, że podarowała nam ponad setkę aniołów. Ekipa Maluca Yarnbombing razem z grupą Guerilla Knitting Rotterdam pracowicie przygotowywała szydełkowe ozdoby i girlandy do naszego projektu. Ale to robótki Babci stanowią większość ozdób na drzewku.
W niedzielne popołudnie 11 grudnia 2011 cała grupa dekorowała drzewko w centrum Rotterdamu bawiąc się przy tym znakomicie. Zaskoczeni przechodnie przyglądali się z podziwem. Nawet osoba kierująca tramwajem wyraziła uznanie.
To takie miłe. A nam wszystkim było bardzo przyjemnie stworzyć tą dekorację. Również własnoręczne dzierganie choinkowych ozdób daje wiele radości. Spróbujcie sami. To proste.
Mamy nadzieję, że nasze drzewko będzie cieszyć mieszkańców w tym świątecznym okresie. A więc… Wesołych Świąt Rotterdam! Wesołych Świąt Wszystkim!
